The Women of Purpose Ministry is both an outreach and in-reach ministry which the Holy Spirit breathed into the heart of our Pastor & Founder, Bishop CJ Henderson many years ago. It was not until 1996 that the vision became a REALITY. At that time, the ministry was called SOULS. In 2008 the name was change to "Women of Purpose".

God is looking for a way to show this broken, battered, and bruised society His endless mercy. We, the Women of Purpose are the messengers God is bringing forth for this troubled world today.

Realizing that Christ desires that all men be saved and come to repentance; the Women of Purpose endeavor to lift the name of Jesus in all that we say and do. This is done so that the lost will be drawn unto Him.

Women of Purpose, also realize that those who are drawn unto Christ must be ministered to. Our commitment is to meet their needs spiritually, physically and mentally. 

As Women of Purpose who have overcome and utilized our situations, only by and through the Power of God's Spirit, we will seek out ways to minister to hurting women young, middle aged, and older; saved and unsaved helping them to fulfill their God given purpose. Spiritually we will always promote that Jesus Christ is the only way. We aim to encourage complete holiness (operating in the Full Power of God) through gatherings designed especially for women. 

Physically, we propose that women will be educated through planned conferences, retreats, summits, bible study, prayer services, home studies, etc.

We further foresee programs designed to promote good health and mind development. Each Woman of Purpose will be afforded the opportunity to seek her God-Given gifts and acquired skills locally and nationally.

We, the Women of Purpose aim to tie the knot so tight with prayer, fellowship and love that the enemy cannot get in. By close relationships and more togetherness, we will develop ministries and programs that will help young women and young girls as well as those who are hurting and oppressed.
